her acting career in 1986 with a three-year stint playing Julie
Cortlandt Chandler on the daytime drama _"All My Children" (1970)_
(qv). It wasn't long before she was cast in the 1986 'Paul Michael
Glaser' (qv)-directed gang warfare flick _Band of the Hand (1986)_
(qv) but it wasn't until she landed her pivotal role in TV's
_"Picket Fences" (1992)_ (qv) and a part portraying 'Bruce Lee'
(qv)'s wife in the well- received biopic _Dragon: The Bruce Lee
Story (1993)_ (qv) that she started to emerge as a genuine
Tinseltown presence. She turned down 'Courteney Cox' (qv)'s role in
'Jim Carrey' (qv)'s hit _Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994)_ (qv),
but was given a second chance to hook up with the rubber-faced
comedian in 1994's _Dumb & Dumber (1994)_ (qv).
