– Apparently after being released on bail the stalker bought a gun and disappeared. Later, Joan's home was broken into and satanic objects covered in blood were left in the house.

– During part of 1997 Joan experienced the terror of being stalked by a man who was in his 50's and a retired businessman from New York City. This gentleman continuously sent Joan letters, faxes, gits and flowers to her and moved to be closer to her.

– Her favorite pastimes are target practice, cooking, writing, playing the Saxophone, enjoys listening and playing slow Jazz and Blues.

– Joan started modeling at 15 to earn money for college. She had planned to enter medical school and got accepted at Texas A & M to become a veterinarian in Africa and breed miniature wild animals that could be kept as pets.
